Litter Socialization Day!

Litter Socialization Day is one of my favorite parts of the Twilight Doodles experience.

By this point, families have already selected their puppy, which means yes… you’ll absolutely get time to snuggle, play with, and spend intentional time with your Goldendoodle of a Lifetime.

But this day is about more than simply visiting puppies.

You are officially part of the TD Fam now, and I truly believe raising confident, resilient dogs takes a village. Every puppy in the litter benefits from safe, positive interactions with new people, new experiences, and gentle encouragement.

During Socialization Day, families help me introduce puppies to:
• New textures and surfaces
• Small obstacles and problem-solving activities
• Novel objects and sounds
• Calm puppy handling exercises
• Confidence-building challenges
• Practicing curiosity, recovery, and resilience

Some puppies will jump right into new experiences. Others may pause, observe, or need a little encouragement before trying something unfamiliar.

That’s the goal.

Confidence is not about a puppy never feeling uncertain. It’s about helping them learn they can safely move through new experiences without becoming overwhelmed.

There will still be plenty of cuddles, playtime, photos, and sweet moments… but the time flies by, so come ready to participate.
