I’ve worn a lot of hats in life, but few light me up like breeding. There’s so much to learn (and geek out over!) about dogs, genetics, & whelping. I love connecting with others who share this passion & I’m constantly amazed by the friendships that blossom. I can’t wait to see where it leads.
What’s in a name
When I started dreaming about a logo, I knew it had to feel like Twilight—the name my whole family has always used for our house on Twilight Drive. It’s where my grandparents raised their four kids, where there was always a dog in the yard, and where kids played outside until the sun went down.
My grandmother passed when I was only three, so finding her little touches when we moved here in 2009 felt really special. The original kitchen cabinets were still lined with those funky 70’s mushrooms and flowers she’d picked out. Even though I didn’t get much time with her, it was like she was still raising me through those details.
Now, as my kids have grown up here, I’ve realized something I never expected: when you love a house, it loves you back. That’s the feeling I wanted my logo to hold on to—the warmth, the roots, and the love that’s carried through generations.
